DP World, the Dubai-based port operator and logistics giant, has unified its marine services businesses – Unifeeder, P&O Ferrymasters, and P&O Maritime Logistics – under a single global brand, strengthening its position as a fully integrated logistics provider.
The companies will now operate as Shipping Solutions, Multimodal Solutions, and Maritime Solutions, covering shipping, rail, and maritime operations worldwide, according to a statement. The transition will roll out across digital, physical, and customer touchpoints, while teams and infrastructure remain unchanged.
Together, the businesses operate 150 vessels linking over 200 ports, manage 100+ rail modalities across Europe and the UK, and maintain a fleet of more than 400 vessels, including specialized multi-purpose cargo ships and pilotage services.
DP World’s CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said: “Unifying these brands complements the next natural step in our transformation journey from a leading port operator into a fully integrated global logistics provider.”
📌 Why it matters: The consolidation simplifies global logistics, giving customers a single, trusted point of contact across shipping, rail, and maritime services.
📌 Bottom line: DP World’s unified brand strengthens its global supply chain capabilities and positions it for growth as a fully integrated logistics provider.
