US President Donald Trump said he intends to speak with billionaire Elon Musk about how to help restore internet service in Iran, where authorities have cut off online access for several days amid widespread anti‑government protests, Reuters reported.
Trump told reporters he sees Musk — founder of SpaceX, which operates the satellite internet service Starlink — as someone with the expertise to address the blackout. “He’s very good at that kind of thing, he’s got a very good company,” Trump said in response to a question about whether he would reach out to Musk’s firm.
