G42, the United Arab Emirates’ top AI firm, is set to receive shipments of some of the world’s most powerful semiconductor chips in the coming months.
The deliveries will feature processors from Nvidia, Advanced Micro Devices, and Cerebras Systems, G42’s CEO Peng Xiao told Bloomberg TV in Davos.
He added that the first 200 megawatts of capacity from G42’s large-scale data center expansion in Abu Dhabi are scheduled to be operational within the next couple of months.
📌 Why it matters: These high-performance processors and new data center capacity position G42 and Abu Dhabi as emerging hubs for AI and advanced computing in the Middle East.
📌 Bottom line: With access to next-generation semiconductors and large-scale infrastructure, G42 is accelerating its ambitions to become a regional and global leader in artificial intelligence.
