Emirates Group Chief Financial Officer Michael Doersam will step down by the end of June, marking a senior leadership change at one of the world’s largest long-haul carriers.
Doersam, who has served as group CFO since 2021, is leaving for family reasons, the Dubai-based company said. A successor will be named “in due course.”
The departure comes as the state-owned aviation conglomerate continues to navigate strong post-pandemic travel demand alongside rising operating costs and aircraft delivery constraints across the industry.
Separately, Steve Allen, the chief executive of ground-handling and travel services unit Dnata, is also set to leave in June, according to Bloomberg.
The dual exits represent a notable reshuffle at the top of the group, which spans airline operations, airport services and global logistics.
